The fees charged by the practice reflect the costs of running a specialist service and are those recommended by the Australian Medical Association. Cash, cheque, EFTPOS, BPay and major credit cards (MasterCard, Visa) are accepted as payment.

The practice does not routinely Bulk Bill Medicare for services, however circumstances can be discussed individually with patients who may be disadvantaged.

All patients will receive an estimation of surgery fees. We will also assist you in obtaining estimates from the Anaesthetist and the selected hospital. Privately insured patients will have most covered by Medicare and their Health Fund, although a small gap may remain depending on your individual level of cover and Health Fund. The practice participates in many of the Health Fund direct billing “Gap Cover” schemes, thus eliminating out of pocket expenses for eligible patients. You are encouraged to discuss any out of pocket expense with us before the surgery.
